Boys Totem Town (BTT) is a residential program for up to 36 adolescent boys age who have been committed by the court to treatment for committing.

Boys Totem Town is a residential program for adolescent boys who have been adjudicated delinquent by the Juvenile Court. The name, Boys Totem Town. But in all likelihood, only a small portion of the Boys Totem Town site will be retained by the Ramsey County for its juvenile justice program.
Our summary of the workshop tries to address the misunderstandings that remain. There were several groups of people answering the same questions. We wish to offer a huge Thank You to all the Work Group members who committed time and energy to our process!
SOON within 1 year — 1 Ramsey County decides what kinds of facilities it needs for its programs and where those facilities will be located.

Our hope is that all community members know what to expect when the time comes for the City and County to explore the future of the site.
At this point, the County is no longer even guessing about a date by which they will make their decisions, but it could be more than a year from now. This formal process will include formal public outreach efforts and hearings.

Paul residential center for delinquent boys, is in question after a stern warning by the Ramsey County. A supervisor at Boys Totem Town, Ramsey County's correctional facility for adolescent boys, has resigned in light of allegations that he lost his.
What started as a conversation about Boys Totem Town's ageing facilities has now turned into an evaluation of Ramsey County's juvenile.
They will still need a facility for "out-patient" work and schooling and to house staff, and right now it looks like that larger facility will be in Roseville - easily accessible by public transit and more centrally located than Boys Totem Town.
This will all be done in a variety of facilitated discussions within small groups of people — in different settings and different opportunities that come up. The notes to that meeting are listed here.

After the July 22nd event, many of us will participate in events like National Night Out and organize outreach efforts to gather more inputs.
